Hans Hofmann had a his own school in Provincetown, Massachusetts in the 40s and 50s. Many famous or notable artists studied with him: Lee Krasner, Helen Frankenthaler, Joan Mitchell, Michael Goldberg, Ray Eames, Larry Rivers, Robert de Niro, Sr., Red Grooms and Wolf Kahn. This video consists of photographs, interviews and film clips of Hofmann and former students.
